Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or date of birth entered in a search tool goes to the outside provider that operates it. That provider processes the query and supplies any result. Bulloch County Warrant Records does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be retained long enough to answer and manage the message. It remains within the operating team unless disclosure is required by a valid legal duty.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the servers may automatically receive basic technical details about that visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files saved on a device. They help show, in aggregate, which pages receive visits and where sessions end. Analytics providers may assist with that measurement. Browser controls can block cookies, though doing so may alter how parts of the site work.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Warrant Data on File
This site does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a warrant database or personal warrant records. It identifies official routes for Bulloch County records, including the Sheriff's Warrants/Civil unit, the issuing courts, and the Clerk of Superior, State & Juvenile Courts. Georgia has no single public statewide warrant database. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the site's search boxes. Their privacy terms, retention rules, and sharing practices govern information entered there. Review the provider's policy before submitting personal details because this policy does not control those systems.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Bulloch County Sheriff, local courts, Georgia agencies, legal resources, and outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy terms apply. Read them before sharing personal information.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may still be available to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable safeguards are used for collected data, but no internet system can guarantee perfect security. Protective steps reduce risk without eliminating the chance of unauthorized access.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If such data is identified, a deletion request may be made.
Your Data Rights
Applicable Georgia and federal law may provide added rights. The Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. § 50-18-70 et seq., governs access to records held by public agencies, not private visitor data kept by this site. Subject to applicable limits, a visitor may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
